NOVELTY - A modified graphite cathode material comprises graphite, and multilayer graphene dispersed on the graphite, where the multilayer graphene is loaded with a conductive agent via bonding effect of a binder. USE - Modified graphite cathode material for rechargeable battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material improves compaction density of negative electrode of battery, and can effectively reduce the precipitation of lithium from the negative electrode of a rechargeable battery and enhance the cyclic performance of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing modified graphite cathode material.
