NOVELTY - A fuel cell catalyst preparing method involves heating metal carbonitrides in an inert gas containing oxygen to produce metal oxycarbonitrides, adding graphene to acetone to disperse ultrasonically to obtain a graphene dispersion, adding the metal oxycarbonitride to the graphene dispersion, mixing and beating, removing solvent, and performing high temperature treatment to obtain metal oxycarbonitride-graphene composites. The metal oxycarbonitride-graphene composite material is impregnated with an acidic solution, taken out, washed, dried and heat treated to obtain the finished product. USE - Method for preparing fuel cell catalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing fuel cell catalyst with excellent catalytic activity, in cost effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a fuel cell catalyst prepared by the method.
