▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A graphene nanoribbon is formed by providing monomeric precursors each including alkyne moiety and greater than or equal to 1 aromatic moiety bonded to alkyne moiety; polymerizing monomeric precursors to form polymer; and converting polymer to graphene nanoribbon. USE - Formation of graphene nanoribbon. ADVANTAGE - Pristine graphene nanoribbons can be produced quantitatively via heating of substituted diphenyl polyacetylene without requiring external reagents or solvents. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for forming electronic device which involves providing polymer including backbone having repeating enyne units and aromatic moieties as side groups bonded to backbone, disposing polymer over a substrate, and converting polymer to graphene nanoribbon. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the synthetic approach to graphene nanoribbon via topochemical polymerization of polyacetylene.
