NOVELTY - Method for preparing ultra-thin graphene, involves (i) uniformly mixing solid organic substance and molten salt to obtain a mixture, and (ii) thermally polymerizing the obtained mixture under an inert gas environment to produce the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing ultra-thin graphene used as an adsorbent for adsorbing hydrophobic organic substance (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and produces ultra-thin and ultra-light graphene materials.
