NOVELTY - Single-atom catalyst is formed by loading uniformly single-atom material in graphene-like carbon material. USE - Single-atom catalyst for use in high-efficiency electrocatalysis, organic catalysis or biological diagnosis and treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The single-atom catalyst has excellent oxygen reduction catalytic activity and good stability because the metal monatomic can be uniformly dispersed on the carrier. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a single-atom catalyst, which involves: dissolving carbon template precursor and the metal precursor in an acidic solution to obtain a first mixed solution, dissolving the metal precursor and the carbon-coated precursor in a buffer solution to obtain a second mixed solution, filtering, drying the obtained second mixed solution, and calcining in a tube furnace to obtain a single-atom catalyst.
