NOVELTY - Manufacture of cellulose composite fiber involves preparing composite fiber comprising 100 pts. wt. cellulose and 1-10 pts. wt. graphene containing oxygen atoms on its surface, and contacting the composite fiber with a solution containing metal ion. USE - Manufacture of cellulose composite fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces cellulose composite fiber with improved tensile strength and elongation.
