NOVELTY - A three-dimensional foamed nickel-based nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel comprises 4.0-10.9 wt.% graphene oxide, 8.3-21.7 wt.% nitrogen source, 1.7-5.4 wt.% crosslinking agent, 8.3-10.9 wt.% reducing agent and 51.1-77.7 wt.% foamed nickel. USE - Three-dimensional foamed nickel-based nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel for treating high-salt dye wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has high catalytic efficiency and has good reusability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of three-dimensional foamed nickel-based nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel comprising adding graphene oxide into distilled water, ultrasonicating, dispersing, adding nitrogen source, crosslinking agent and reducing agent, ultrasonicating, adding foamed nickel, reacting at 90 degrees C for 12 hours, taking out, cleaning with distilled water, and freeze drying; and (2) high-salt dye wastewater treatment method comprising adding three-dimensional foamed nickel-based nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel into high-salt dye wastewater, stirring, taking out three-dimensional foamed nickel-based nitrogen-doped graphene aerogel, washing with distilled water, mixing potassium monoperoxysulfate solution, and reacting.
