NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide composite film with polyvinyl alcohol involves adding graphene oxide in deionized water followed by ultrasonic dispersion; uniformly dispersing an aqueous solution of polyethylene oxide graphene alcohol mixture; heating the mixture; cooling to room temperature; electrostatic spinning of the polyethylene oxide graphene alcohol dope to obtain graphene oxide complex with polyvinyl alcohol composite film under specific conditions. USE - For preparing grapheme oxide and polyethylene alcohol composite film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides the composite film that has high separation efficiency, high film strength and excellent waterproof property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene oxide composite film with polyvinyl alcohol involves adding graphene oxide in deionized water, where mass ratio of graphene oxide and deionized water is 1:100-1000, followed by ultrasonic dispersion for 0.5-2 hours, to form uniform dispersion of graphene oxide; uniformly dispersing an aqueous solution of polyethylene oxide graphene alcohol mixture with the stirring speed of 30-300 rotations per minute (rpm); heating the mixture to 60-100 degrees C for 2-12 hours; cooling to room temperature to give a spinning dope of graphene oxide in polyvinyl alcohol of mass fraction of 6-12 wt.%; electrostatic spinning of the polyethylene oxide graphene alcohol dope to obtain graphene oxide complex with polyvinyl alcohol composite film at 20-50 degrees C with spinning voltage of 8-22kV, flow rate of 0.01-10 ml/hour, spinning distance of 8-16 cm, roller speed of 100-1500rpm, needle oscillating speed of 20-50cm/minute for 12-48h. The electrospinning method further involves mixing a cross-linking agent with the graphene oxide and polyethylene alcohol composite film in acetone, deionized water, hydrochloric acid solution of for 1-12 hours, where the mass ratio of deionized water and acetone is 1:1-5 and mix solution contains 6 wt.% of a cross-linking agent and 0.5-1 wt.% of a crosslinking of the graphene oxide and polyethylene alcohol composite film.
