NOVELTY - Preparing carbon quantum dots-coated carbonaceous material, comprises (i) providing a carbon quantum dot precursor, providing a carbonaceous material dispersion, (ii) mixing the carbon quantum dot precursor and the carbon material dispersion solution uniformly to obtain the mixing solution, (iii) using spray drying method to drying the mixed solution to obtain the carbon quantum dot precursor coated carbon material and (iv)coating the carbon quantum dot precursor in vacuum or a protective gas atmosphere with a carbonaceous material for heating treatment to obtain a carbon quantum dot coated carbonaceous material. USE - The method for preparing functional material usefulin composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and reliable, has good repetition rate and high productivity, has good wettability with ceramic matrix and the interface is firmly combined. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a composite material, comprising carbon quantum dot-coated carbonaceous material as reinforcement.
