NOVELTY - The composite has a graphene sheet surrounded with a metal nanoparticle. The metal nanoparticle is made of silicon, tin, germanium, aluminum, lead, zinc, cobalt, copper, titanium, nickel, lithium, silver or gold. USE - Graphene-metal nanoparticle composite for a carbon nano fiber composite of an electrode in a secondary battery (all claimed) of an electric vehicle and a mobile communication apparatus e.g. notebook computer, cellular phone and DMB phone. ADVANTAGE - The composite can prevent the metal nanoparticle from being damaged. The composite prevents agglomeration of the metal nanoparticle and improves resistivity and effective electrochemical reaction of an electrode. The composite has high-capacity and better volume stability.
