NOVELTY - Preparation of environmentally-friendly aqueous graphene quantum dot cutting liquid involves preparing a graphite oxide dispersion by modified Hummers method, preparing 2-5 layers of graphene quantum dots by adding the graphite oxide dispersion to a certain amount of deionized water, adjusting a solid-liquid ratio to 0.1-50 g/L, homogenizing using a homogenizer at 20-150 MPa for 5-10 times to obtain 2-5 layers of graphene quantum dots with a size of 50-200 nm, weighing 0.1-2 pts. wt. 2-5 layers of graphene quantum dots and dispersing in 80-90 pts. wt. deionized water, adding 0.1-2 pts. wt. polyethylene glycol, 0.01-5 pts. wt. citric acid ester, 1-10 pts. wt. surfactant, 1-3 pts. wt. borate, 1-3 pts. wt. dicarboxylic acid salt, 1-3 pts. wt. triethanolamine, 1-3 pts. wt. sodium benzoate, and 2-5 pts. wt. ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, ultrasonically-treating for 10-60 minutes at a certain frequency, and stirring at a certain speed for 10-60 minutes. USE - Preparation of environmentally-friendly aqueous graphene quantum dot cutting liquid. ADVANTAGE - The method produces environmentally-friendly aqueous graphene quantum dot cutting liquid having improved lubrication performance of 70% and heat dissipation performance of 50%, by simple and easy-to-implement operation and by greatly saving manpower and material cost.
