NOVELTY - Lightweight high-strength gypsum composite material with electromagnetic shielding and absorption efficiency, comprises 30-40 pts. wt. gypsum hemihydrate, 20-25 pts. wt. type-II anhydrous gypsum, 2-8 pts. wt. graphene solution, 5-10 pts. wt. mineral admixture, 0.05-0.2 pts. wt. hydroxyethyl cellulose, 0.3-0.7 pts. wt. sodium lauryl sulfate, 0.2-0.5 pts. wt. foam stabilizer and 20-35 pts. wt. water. The foam stabilizer is polyacrylamide and/or polyvinyl alcohol. USE - The composite material is useful as non-bearing wall material or decorative material for common industrial and civil buildings including hospital and military base with special environmental requirements. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent mechanical strength, low density, low heat conductivity and excellent water resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing lightweight high-strength gypsum composite material with electromagnetic shielding and absorption efficiency, comprising (i) uniformly mixing gypsum hemihydrate, type-II anhydrous gypsum and mineral admixture by mechanical stirring for 1-2 minutes to obtain mixed powder, (ii) uniformly mixing graphene solution, water and hydroxyethyl cellulose, then adding prepared mixed powder, and mechanically stirring for 1 minute to obtain slurry, (iii) mixing sodium lauryl sulfate and foam stabilizer with the prepared slurry, and stirring for 30 seconds to obtain uniformly mixed slurry, and (iv) forming and hardening the mixed slurry to obtain final product.
