NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in water to obtain 1-20 mg/ml of oxidized graphene suspension, adding 1-500 g/l of sodium hydroxide solution into the suspension, stirring the mixture to obtain mixed solution of sodium hydroxide and oxidized graphene oxide, filtering the solution, carrying out screening and drying process, drying the filtrate in a muffle furnace, calcining the mixture under inert atmosphere at low and high temperature, cooling and washing the mixture with water, and filtering and drying obtained product. USE - The graphene is useful in electrode sheet and super capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene with high surface area, electrical conductivity and specific capacity, in a simple and cost-effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) the graphene prepared by the method as above per se; and (2) an electrode sheet comprising current collector coated on the surface of active material including the graphene, polyvinylidene fluoride adhesive and acetylene black conductive agent in a mass ratio of 88:10:2.
