NOVELTY - The graphene product comprises reagent-grade xanthan gum as exfoliating agent, and graphite or graphite ore without prior refining treatment. USE - Graphene product used in composite materials and used for detecting organic macromolecules as optoelectronic material in solar cell applications. ADVANTAGE - The graphene product increases mechanical strength, electrical and thermal properties, and can be prepared in a simple and cost-effective manner with high yield and high purity on industrial scale. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene product, which involves: (A) providing reagent-grade xanthan gum as exfoliating agent; (B) providing graphite; (C) pouring xanthan gum in water; (D) homogenizing the mixture to obtain gel; (E) submitting vacuum drying process; (F) adding graphite after dissolving xanthan gum in water; (G) homogenizing the solution; (H) adding nitric acid into the solution; (I) heating the solution to obtain product; (J) washing the obtained product; and (K) drying the obtained product in vacuum.
