NOVELTY - A composite material (200) comprises a graphene material, a carbon nanotube material and a metal-containing material including at least one metal element. USE - Composite material used as gas sensing material for chemoresistive gas sensor for chemoresistive gas sensing system for detecting gas (all claimed) such as carbon monoxide, ozone and nitrogen oxides gases. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent functionality to detect certain gases in low concentration, and provides the chemoresistive gas sensor having excellent sensitivity. The sensor can selectively detect the gases. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) chemoresistive gas sensor (100), which comprises the composite material, and an electrode structure (110) coupled to the composite material; (2) chemoresistive gas sensing system, which comprises the chemoresistive gas sensor and an integrated circuit electrically coupled to the chemoresistive gas sensor; (3) manufacture of chemoresistive gas sensor, which involves forming an ink material including the composite material and printing the ink material; and (4) detection of gas, which involves providing the composite material, adsorbing the gas to the composite material, and desorbing the gas from the composite material.
