NOVELTY - Modified graphene-carbon nanotube-filled polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene composite material comprises 70 pts. wt. polycarbonate, 30 pts. wt. acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, 30 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 10-20 pts. wt. masterbatch, 6-12 pts. wt. modified graphene mixture and silane coupling agent equivalent to 0.1% total weight of composite material, where modified graphene mixture is prepared by e.g. mixing graphene and carbon nanotubes, adding concentrated sulfuric acid solution, neutralizing, washing, re-dispersing ethanol solution, allowing to stand and freeze-drying. USE - Used as modified graphene-carbon nanotube-filled polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent compatibility, no delamination, excellent comprehensive performance and excellent surface quality of injection molded product. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Modified graphene-carbon nanotube-filled polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene composite material comprises 70 pts. wt. polycarbonate, 30 pts. wt. acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, 30 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 10-20 pts. wt. masterbatch, 6-12 pts. wt. modified graphene mixture and silane coupling agent equivalent to 0.1% the total weight of composite material, where modified graphene mixture is prepared by mixing graphene and carbon nanotubes in a mass ratio of 1-5:1, adding mass fraction of 82-86% concentrated sulfuric acid solution at room temperature for 7-14 minutes, filtering, neutralizing, washing, re-dispersing ethanol solution, allowing to stand and freeze-drying. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing modified graphene-carbon nanotube-filled polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene composite material comprising (i) mixing graphene and carbon nanotubes, adding graphene mixture into concentrated sulfuric acid solution, stirring at room temperature for 7-14 minutes, diluting with water after filtration, washing residue with alkaline solution, then washing with water until neutral, dispersing residue in ethanol solution, then adding filler, stirring and placing at 0-4 degrees C for 12-18 hours, freeze-drying to obtain modified graphene mixture, and (ii) mixing 6-12 pts. wt. modified graphene mixture, 70 pts. wt. polycarbonate, 30 pts. wt. acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, 30 pts. wt. compatibilizer, 10-20 pts. wt. masterbatch, and silane coupling agent equivalent to 0.1% the total weight of composite material, and melt granulating at 220-240 degrees C.
