NOVELTY - Silicon-carbon composite material, is claimed. The composite material has egg yolk-shell structure, where the inner core is made of silicon material. The outer shell is made of carbon, and the inner core and outer shell are cavity structure and connected by a conductive agent. The conductive agent is at least one of carbon nanotubes, graphene quantum dots, carbon black, acetylene black and Super P. The organic polymer is polyethyleneimine, polymethyl methacrylate, polyurethane, polyethylene glycol or polyvinyl alcohol. The polymer monomer is pyrrole, thiophene and aniline. The initiator solution is aqueous solution of ammonium persulfate or ferric chloride. USE - The silicon-carbon composite material is useful in preparing ion battery cathode electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material: has excellent conductivity and performance; can relieve the stress caused by the volume expansion of silicon during the charging and discharging process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a preparation method of silicon-carbon composite material.
