NOVELTY - A sulfonated graphene oxide-silicon dioxide composite/polymer hybrid proton exchange membrane is prepared by dispersing graphene oxide (GO) and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) in 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTS), treating to obtain uniform dispersion liquid, reacting with stirring, centrifuging, washing with ethyl alcohol, vacuum-drying to obtain GO-modified APTS which is APTS-GO, dispersing APTS-GO in formic acid, water, and absolute ethyl alcohol mixed solvent, reacting, centrifuging, washing in anhydrous ethanol, and vacuum-drying to obtain graphene oxide-silicon dioxide composite. USE - Preparation of sulfonated graphene oxide-silicon dioxide composite/polymer hybrid proton exchange membrane (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation is simple and easy to mass-produce, has low production cost, good industrial production foundation, improves proton conductivity, greatly increases methanol permeability, and obtains product which has excellent dispersibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A sulfonated graphene oxide-silicon dioxide composite/polymer hybrid proton exchange membrane is prepared by dispersing graphite oxide (GO) and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) in 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTS) in which mass ratio GO:DCC is 1:10-10:1, ultrasonically treating to obtain uniform dispersion liquid, reacting with stirring at 60-120 degrees C for 6-120 hours, centrifuging, washing with ethyl alcohol, vacuum-drying to obtain GO-modified APTS which is APTS-GO, dispersing APTS-GO in formic acid, water, and absolute ethyl alcohol mixed solvent to obtain uniform dispersion liquid, reacting at 30-120 degrees C for 0.5-3 days, centrifuging, washing in anhydrous ethanol, vacuum-drying to obtain graphite oxide-silicon dioxide composite, GO-SiO2, ultrasonically dispersing GO-SiO2 in toluene to obtain 1-1.8 wt./vol.% uniform dispersion liquid, gradually adding gamma -methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS), reacting for 12-96 hours, soaking in 15-30 wt.% aqueous hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solution at 10-50 degrees C for 6-96 hours, centrifuging, washing with anhydrous ethanol, vacuum-drying to obtain sulfonated graphite oxide-silicon dioxide compound, S-GO-SiO2, adding polymer solution to S-GO-SiO2, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain uniform casting solution, coating, film-forming at 60-70 degrees C in oven, slowly heating to 110-150 degrees C, vacuumizing, holding for 12-36 hours to obtain hybrid membrane, and soaking in hydrogen peroxide and acid.
