NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide-grafted styrene involves preparing brominated graphene by reacting brominated graphene oxide with 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide to obtain brominated graphene. The pretreatment of styrene by treating styrene with 5 wt.% sodium hydroxide solution and anhydrous magnesium sulfate. The pretreatment of cuprous bromide by treatment with 3 wt.% acetic acid solution, acetone solution and ethanol solution. The N, N-dimethylformamide pretreatment includes treating with anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and then distilled under reduced pressure. The graphene bromide, pretreated styrene, pretreated cuprous bromide, pretreated N, N-dimethylformamide and pentamethyldiethylene based on triamine reaction to obtain graphene oxide grafted styrene. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide-grafted styrene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene oxide-grafted styrene has simplicity, ease of use and short time.
