NOVELTY - Preparing carbon-coated current collector containing lithium coating comprises subjecting the current collector substrate to chemical erosion, embedding the lithium material, forming a lithium coating, coating conductive coating carbon layer slurry on the surface of the lithium coating to form a conductive carbon coating layer. USE - The emthod is useful for preparing the carbon-coated current collector for lithium battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables chemically etching the current collector substrate and attaching lithium coating and a conductive carbon coating layer, thus improving the surface roughness of current collector, greatly improving surface tension, reducing coating difficulty of the electrode active material to the collector, and improving adhesive force of the active material on the surface of the collector. The existence of the coating and the coating layer can more effectively protect the collector so as to prolong the service life of the battery.
