NOVELTY - The preparation of silver/graphene/zinc oxide composite material for degrading of formaldehyde, involves adding zinc nitrate solution to sodium hydroxide solution, filtering precipitate, washing, drying, calcining dried precipitate, cooling, grinding to obtain zinc oxide nano particles, dispersing silver nano-particles on zinc oxide nano-particles by physical vapor deposition to form silver/zinc oxide composite nanoparticles, using composite nanoparticles as substrate and methane as carbon source, and embedding graphene in silver/zinc oxide composite by chemical vapor deposition. USE - Preparation of silver/graphene/zinc oxide composite material used for degrading of formaldehyde and used for indoor air treatment (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of silver/graphene/zinc oxide composite material with high photocatalytic effect by simple and efficient process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of silver/graphene/zinc oxide composite material for degrading of formaldehyde, involves adding zinc nitrate solution to sodium hydroxide solution, stirring, leaving still, filtering resulting precipitate, washing, and drying, placing dried precipitate in a muffle furnace for calcining, cooling, grinding to obtain zinc oxide nano particles, uniformly dispersing silver nano-particles on zinc oxide nano-particles by physical vapor deposition to form silver/zinc oxide composite nanoparticles, using silver/zinc oxide composite nanoparticles as substrate and methane as carbon source, and embedding graphene in silver/zinc oxide composite by chemical vapor deposition.
