NOVELTY - Preparation of one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires, involves (i) ultrasonically cleaning titanium sheet in acetone and ethanol respectively, drying, (ii) using aqueous solution of sodium fluoride and sodium hydrogen sulfate as electrolyte, copper plate as counter electrode, anodizing titanium plate to obtain one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires, (iii) preparing graphene oxide suspension, (iv) adding one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires to graphene oxide suspension, ultrasonically processing, adjusting pH, heating, (v) hydrothermally reacting, cooling and drying. USE - Preparation of one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-modified one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires have improved photocatalytic performance and excellent ohmic contact with the substrate titanium sheet. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires based on anodic oxidation, involves (i) ultrasonically cleaning titanium sheet in acetone and ethanol respectively, and drying in a nitrogen atmosphere, (ii) using aqueous solution of sodium fluoride and sodium hydrogen sulfate as an electrolyte and copper plate as counter electrode, applying 20-30 V direct current to anodize titanium plate for 1-2 hours to obtain one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires, (iii) ultrasonically decomposing graphene oxide in deionized water to obtain graphene oxide suspension, (iv) adding one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires to the graphene oxide suspension, ultrasonically processing, adjusting the pH of the solution to 6-8, heating at 100-200 degrees C for 2-5 hours, (v) adding the solution to an autoclave, carrying out hydrothermal reaction at 200-250 degrees C for 10-20 hours, cooling and drying to obtain graphene-modified one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanowires.
