NOVELTY - Lightning protection coating comprises 40-60 wt.% alicyclic epoxy resin, 30-40 wt.% carbon black, 1.5-8 wt.% photoinitiator, 1-5 wt.% conductive filler and 3.5-7.2 wt.% other additive. USE - The lightning protection coating is used for reducing grounding resistance of weather resistant steel poles and towers (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating has good adhesion, fast forming, excellent rust prevention and conductivity.
