NOVELTY - Preparation of low defect graphene sponge super capacitor includes dissolving catalyst ferrocene in liquid carbon source 1,2-dichlorobenzene, injecting catalyst/carbon source solution in preheating zone of tube furnace, reacting carbon source and catalyst with hydrogen gas/argon (H2/Ar) carrier gas, adding potassium permanganate, dispersing, immersing carbon nanotube sponge in strong oxidizing mixed solution, standing, removing air, standing, adding hydrogen peroxide, cooling, drying graphene ribbon sponge, reacting and preparing supercapacitor using graphene sponge as electrode material. USE - Method of preparing low defect graphene sponge super capacitor. ADVANTAGE - The supercapacitor is an excellent energy storage material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of low defect graphene sponge super capacitor comprises dissolving catalyst ferrocene in liquid carbon source 1,2-dichlorobenzene to obtain catalyst/carbon source solution, injecting catalyst/carbon source solution in preheating zone of tube furnace for vaporization, reacting carbon source and catalyst with hydrogen gas/argon (H2/Ar) carrier gas in tube furnace reaction zone to obtain carbon nanotube sponges, adding potassium permanganate to mixed solution of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, dispersing into strong oxidizing solution, immersing carbon nanotube sponge in strong oxidizing mixed solution, standing at room temperature, removing air, standing to obtain graphene with sponge, adding hydrogen peroxide to ice water, cooling to room temperature, placing graphene sponge in hydrochloric acid solution to remove impurities, replacing hydrochloric acid with deionized water, replacing deionized water with absolute ethanol, drying graphene ribbon sponge, placing graphene sponge and hydrazine hydrate in reaction vessel, reacting to obtain chemically reduced low defect graphene sponge and preparing supercapacitor using graphene sponge as electrode material.
