NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene involves preparing a metal ion solution by dissolving a metal and a benzene derivative in an organic solvent, mixing the graphene precursor and the metal ion solution to form an intercalation compound, washing the intercalating compound with a non-polar organic solvent, and separating the intercalant compound with an aprotic organic solvent. USE - Manufacture of graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient manufacture of graphene with excellent electrical property and mechanical property, without damaging the material.
