NOVELTY - Preparing graphene film comprises (i) selecting at least two of gallium oxide, alumina, magnesium oxide, micro-silica powder, cerium oxide, carbon black, and graphene as raw materials for preparing the powder photocatalyst mixture; (ii) cleaning the surface of the metal substrate; and (iii) placing the catalyst prepared in step (i) in a tube furnace, placing the metal substrates treated in step (ii) respectively in the heating zone of the tube furnace, annealing the substrates in a protective atmosphere, introducing a gaseous carbon source into the tube furnace, irradiating the surface of the catalyst with a light source, and performing chemical vapor deposition under heating, taking out the metal substrate and cooling quickly to room temperature to obtain the graphene film on the surface of the metal substrate. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene film. ADVANTAGE - The method: can reduce the use of carbonaceous materials e.g. methane as the carbon source and energy consumption cost, has industrialization feasibility and is suitable for large-scale production; and produces film with high uniformity and good repeatability and suitable for the controllable preparation of single-layer or few-layer.
