NOVELTY - Silicon-carbon nano tube composite comprises three-dimensional structure of carbon nano tube aggregate, silicon provided on inner portion and outer portion of surface of the carbon nano tube aggregate, and a graphene layer provided on some portion of inner portion and outer portion of carbon nano tube aggregate having silicon. USE - The silicon-carbon nano tube composite is useful to produce lithium secondary battery containing cathode active material for battery module (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon-carbon nano tube composite prevents degradation of structure of the carbon nano tubes, and inhibits formation of unstable solid electrolyte interphase layer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) cathode comprising the cathode active material; (2) lithium secondary battery comprising anode, cathode containing cathode active material, separating membrane located between the anode, cathode and electrolyte impregnated between the anode, cathode and separating membrane; (3) producing the silicon-carbon nano tube composite comprising (a) introducing the silicon on some portion of inner and outer portion of surface of the carbon nano tube aggregate, and (b) providing the graphene layer on some portion of inner portion and outer portion of carbon nano tube aggregate having silicon, (c) adjusting size of the carbon nano tube aggregate by drying method; and (4) producing cathode comprising (i) producing cathode active material composite containing cathode active material, and (ii) coating the cathode active material composite on the current collector.
