NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-based micro rods involves wet-spinning slurry and coagulating in a rotating coagulation bath to obtain a graphene oxide-based gel microrod slurry, where the slurry includes graphene oxide and water. The graphene oxide-based gel microrod slurry is subjected to a hydrothermal reaction and filtered to obtain product. USE - Method for preparing graphene-based micro rods. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene-based micro rods, in simple and cost-effective manner.
