▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A bilayer object comprises carbon fiber reinforced polymer substrate coated with composition of matter containing horizontally aligned exfoliated graphene sheets dispersed in epoxy binder. USE - A bilayer object. ADVANTAGE - Polymer chains directly bonded to graphene sheets can eliminate volatility and prevents outgassing from structure. Gas barrier performance is outstanding. Method is inexpensive, efficient and easy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) cured composition of matter comprising horizontally aligned graphene sheets dispersed in low outgassing epoxy; (2) manufacture of cured epoxy graphene material which involves depositing graphene into hardener, mixing hardener and graphene to produce homogenous composite mixture, adding resin material to composite mixture to produce epoxy graphene material, coating structure with epoxy graphene material, aligning graphene sheets in in-plane orientation, and curing; and (3) cryo-compressed hydrogen tank comprising carbon-fiber polymer reinforced body having inner surface, and horizontally aligned epoxy-graphene sheets coating on outer surface.
