NOVELTY - The solar cell has bottom electrode provided with an opening part. An insulating layer is fixed at the opening part of the bottom electrode. A graphene layer is formed on the insulating layer. A PN junction layer is connected to the graphene layer. An upper electrode is arranged between the insulating and graphene layers. A semiconductor layer is made of flexible material that is selected among polyethylenenapthelate (PEN), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyimide (PI), polyacrylate (PAR), polyethersulfone (PES), polycarbonate (PC), polynorbornene (PN) and polyarylate (PAR). USE - Flexible solar cell. ADVANTAGE - The solar cell has better electrical characteristics and performance, and ensures high efficiency by utilizing the graphene layer. The solar cell can realize low conversion cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for manufacturing a flexible solar cell.
