NOVELTY - Use of pterostilbene modified nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene nano-composite material in preparing slow-release medicine for treating dry eye, where the nano-composite material is prepared by covalently connecting pterostilbene to nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene through π-π stacking interaction and simultaneous physical adsorption, is claimed. USE - The pterostilbene modified nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene nano-composite material is used for preparing medicine for treating dry eye (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene nano-composite material has unique two-dimensional size, large specific surface area, good water solubility and biosafety enhances the cell permeability, ocular surface retention and biosafety of pterostilbene, the large π bond structure in the molecular structure of graphene derivatives generates strong affinity for electrons and reactive oxygen radicals, and efficiently absorbs the sudden increase in cells, makes nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene have excellent catalytic elimination ability of active oxygen, which is an effective way to inhibit the generation of active oxygen in the eye. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation method of the nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene nano-composite material modified by pterostilbene comprising (S1) using edge functionalized ball milling method for preparing nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene, mixing the graphite powder and carboxyl chitosan according to the mass ratio of 1: 2-1: 4, putting in the ball milling tank, ball milling for 3-7 hours at a rotating speed of 300-500 rpm, after finishing ball milling, adding deionized water, washing the product, removing the unreacted impurity by high speed centrifugal processing, dispersing the precipitate in dimethyl sulfoxide solution to obtain nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene, and (S2) preparing pterostilbene modified nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene nano-composite material by dissolving the pterostilbene in dimethyl sulfoxide solution, mixing with nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene/dimethyl sulfoxide dispersion in shaking table, rotating for 24 hours at a speed of 100 rpm, centrifuging for 10 minutes at 12000 rpm, removing the supernatant, keeping the precipitate, and dissolving the precipitate in 2 mL deionized water to obtain pterostilbene modified nitrogen-containing functionalized graphene nano-composite material solution.
