NOVELTY - An armor comprises lamination (104) comprising a set of alternating stacks of fabric layers, each stack of fabric layers, comprising woven fabric layer (104) and unidirectional fabric layer (108). USE - The armor is useful for bodily rifle protection, vehicular and structural protection, and for personnel protection, and for ballistic protection of vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The armor is flexible, thin, and lightweight, with multi-round rifle-resistant capability according to applicable industry standards. The fabric layers are made of woven or non-woven material, so that the wearer can be protected against penetration of the projectile by the projectile, thus providing protection to a wearer's hand and fingers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for forming an armor which involves providing a set of alternating stacks of fabric layers, and adhering together the alternating stacks of fabric layers.
