NOVELTY - Cyanophosphate additive (I) is new. USE - (I) is useful in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - (I) provides lithium-ion battery having low gas production, excellent stability, long cycle life, reduces the film resistance, polarization, and consumption of lithium ions, and improved lithium-ion conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Cyanophosphate additive of formula (I) is new. R1= groups containing cyano including cyanoalkyl or substituted cyanoalkyl; and R2= lithium ions, 1-6C saturated hydrocarbon groups, 1-6C unsaturated hydrocarbon group, alkoxy group, cyanoalkyl group, haloalkyl, phenyl, silyl or substituted silyl. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for lithium-ion battery, comprising anode pole, cathode pole and electrolyte, where anode includes (I).
