NOVELTY - Graphene-doped aluminum-based brake plate material comprises 80-100 pts. wt. aluminum powder, 4-8 pts. wt. magnesium powder, 2-5 pts. wt. manganese powder, 1-3 pts. wt. copper powder, 1-2 pts. wt. nickel powder, 2-5 pts. wt. silicon carbide, 3-7 pts. wt. graphene, 0.5-1 pts. wt. melamine, 0.5-1 pts. wt. coupling agent, 2-4 pts. wt. dispersing agent and 5-10 pts. wt. polypyrrole. USE - Used as graphene-doped aluminum-based brake plate material. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-doped aluminum-based brake plate material: has improved strength, wear resistance and durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene-doped aluminum-based brake plate material comprising (i) adding dispersing agent, silicon carbide and melamine to 2-5 times the weight of water, and dispersing to obtain dispersion, (ii) adding graphene to the dispersion, grinding, adding coupling agent, and continuously grinding to obtain mixed solution, (iii) placing mixed liquid in a muffle furnace, and increasing the temperature to obtain reinforced particles, (iv) immersing reinforced particles in the polypyrrole, taking out and drying to obtain polypyrrole-coated modified reinforced particles, (v) mixing aluminum powder, magnesium powder, manganese powder, copper powder and nickel powder and smelting to obtain aluminum alloy matrix, and (vi) baking the modified reinforcing particles at a high temperature and adding to the preheated aluminum alloy matrix, then smelting and pressing to obtain final product.
