NOVELTY - Manufacturing core-shell structured quantum dots involves preparing a carbon source dispersion, adding a quantum dot core to the carbon source dispersion, and then generating plasma plume from the carbon source by irradiating a laser to the carbon source dispersion while stirring the carbon source dispersion to which the quantum dot core is added. The carbon is emitted to form a graphene shell on the surface of the quantum dot core. USE - Method for manufacturing core-shell structured quantum dots used in various industrial fields to utilize characteristics of infrared light, such as smart manufacturing, smart farms, smart buildings, and smart cars. ADVANTAGE - The method manufactures the core-shell structured quantum dots in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with improved thermal stability, excellent optical properties, and chemical stability by preventing deterioration.
