NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen self-doping porous graphene comprises (i) washing fresh porous shell, drying to obtain a crimped dried shell sample, (ii) placing shells in a multi-functional pulverizer and pulverizing to obtain a material powder, (iii) mixing with potassium hydroxide solid, reacting, drying, (iv) placing in a tubular furnace, activating, (v) pulverizing, (vi) freeze-drying to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrogen self-doping porous graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nitrogen self-doping porous graphene includes environmentally-friendly raw material, and can be regenerated. The method is economical and environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing nitrogen self-doping porous graphene comprises taking porous bean shell as solid carbon and nitrogen source, ultrafine grinding, mixing with potassium hydroxide, activating, pickling, and freeze-drying, the method includes (i) washing fresh porous shell, drying to obtain a crimped dried shell sample, (ii) placing shells in a multi-functional pulverizer and pulverizing to obtain a material powder, (iii) mixing the shell material powder with potassium hydroxide, reacting at 60-90 degrees C constant temperature water bath and stirring for 2-8 hours, removing, drying, (iv) placing the solidified mass obtained in a tubular furnace, under inert gas protected atmosphere, and temperature, activating, (v) pulverizing, pickling, extracting, filtering, and adding water to neutral, (vi) freeze-drying for 10-60 hours to obtain the product.
