NOVELTY - Method for reducing graphene oxide modified carbon felt involves (i) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in ionic liquid to prepare uniform dispersion (A), (ii) cutting carbon felt into a sheet, and completely immersing in the dispersion (A), (iii) transferring the immersed carbon felt to a reactor for ionic thermal reaction, and (iv) taking out the carbon felt after cooling, and drying after washing to obtain the product of composite electrode material. USE - The method is useful for reducing graphene oxide modified carbon felt for all-vanadium redox flow battery electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has excellent dispersion, uniform reaction, high modification efficiency and economic benefit, and is pollution-free. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a composite material of reducing graphene oxide modified carbon felt prepared by the above method; (2) an all-vanadium redox flow battery electrode prepared using the reducing graphene oxide-modified carbon felt composite material as an electrode; and (3) an all-vanadium flow battery assembled with the electrode as an electrode.
