▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The sensor (100) has two conductive sides (101a) that is made of graphene-based polymer material. Two non-conductive sides (102a) are made of insulating material e.g. polylactic acid (PLA). A top side has a pin hole for air to escape. A bottom side has an opening for the liquid to enter. The two sides form the parallel plates of the sensor. The sensor detects presence of floating objects inside and out of liquid and measures immersion level of the floating objects. The liquid enters through the opening at the bottom side to produce a change in the capacitance and the change is measured. USE - Capacitance based portable sensor for detecting the presence of floating objects and to measure the immersion level of the floatable objects. Uses include but are not limited to self-driving cars, autonomous maze solving robots, detection of large surfaces on the bottom of the ocean and detection of the floating objects. ADVANTAGE - The simple, cost effective capacitance based portable sensor is provided to detect the presence of floating objects and to measure the immersion level of the floating objects. The capacitance change is directly proportional to the change in the permeability of the medium which is the level of liquid that enters through the opening at the bottom side of the sensor when attached to the floating object. The liquid and air present between the parallel plates form the dielectric medium and thus the capacitance variance is measured accordingly. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a perspective view of the capacitance based portable sensor. 100Capacitance based portable sensor 101aConductive side 102aNon-conductive side 104Bottom side of opening 104aOpening
