NOVELTY - A potassium ion battery cathode material comprises bismuth phosphate antimony material, where mol ratio of bismuth and antimony is 0.1-5:1.1. USE - The cathode material is useful in potassium ion battery, which is used in electric automobile, intelligent network and large scale energy storage field. ADVANTAGE - The potassium ion battery cathode material has high electrochemical performance, high capacity and cycle stability. It has low charging and discharging platform, and has low volume change in the alloying material charging/discharging process, thus improving the circulation stability of the material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation method of the potassium ion battery cathode material comprises (1) dissolving soluble bismuth salt, soluble antimony salt, soluble phosphate and conductive carbon into the solvent to mix, where the mol ratio of the soluble bismuth salt and the element bismuth and antimony in the soluble antimony salt is (0.1- 5): 1; and (2) putting the mixed material in a reaction kettle to react, after finishing reaction, centrifuging the obtained precipitate, and cleaning.
