NOVELTY - Improving low temperature toughness of polypropylene random (PPR) material comprises toughening PPR material using graphene/nylon 6 nano composite material, single-layer graphene, grafting with graphene/nylon 6 nano composite material and nylon 6 monolayer graphene composition, then transverse dimension to thickness of greater than 3 mu m, where mass ratio of nylon 6 to graphene is 0.1-1:100. USE - The method is useful for improving low temperature toughness of polypropylene random material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has excellent low-temperature flexibility; and the method improves PPR material low-temperature cold brittleness, and expands application range of the PPR material.
