NOVELTY - The sensor has electrode yarn that has one intersecting point to form a capacitive structure. A conductive thread is wrapped around an elastic yarn. An elastic dielectric layer is wrapped around the elastic yarn and the conductive thread. The elastic dielectric layer deforms to reduce the distance between the conductive threads in the two electrode yarns, when the intersecting points are pressed. An elastomer comprises at least one of silica gel and thermoplastic polyurethane. A conductive material comprises at least one of graphene, carbon black, and metal nanomaterials. The elastic yarn is nylon wrapped yarn. The conductive thread is nylon silver-plated conductive yarn. USE - Flexible and knitted pressure sensor e.g. thin film type resistance sensor and capacitance sensor, for smart wearables to measure human motion signals, and physiological signals. ADVANTAGE - The conductive threads wound by the elastic yarns and provided with elastic dielectric layers still have certain flexibility and elasticity, since the electrode yarns in this application are made based on ordinary elastic yarns. The electrode yarn is woven, and the pressure sensor and the fabric are closely combined during the weaving process, ensuring high measurement accuracy of the flexible pressure sensor, because the flexible and weavable pressure sensor has weavability.
