NOVELTY - Graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester composite material comprises diol, graphene oxide, saturated dicarboxylic acid or anhydride, unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or anhydride, vinyl monomer, polymerization inhibitor, initiator and accelerating agent, where the amount of the graphene oxide is 0.06-0.5 wt.%. USE - Used as a graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the composite material, comprising: (i) adding diol (40) into graphene oxide (0.1-0.9), vigorously stirring at 20-50 degrees C for 0.5-1 minutes to obtain uniformly dispersed graphene oxide/diol solution, or adding diol (40) to the prepared graphene oxide aqueous solution, uniformly ultrasonic stirring for half an hour to obtain uniformly dispersed graphene oxide/water/diol solution, transferring the solution to a distillation column four-neck flask equipped with a thermometer and an air guide pipe, mechanical stirring, mixing and passing nitrogen, heating at 100-180 degrees C, insulating for several hours until the anhydrous distillation is removed to obtain uniformly dispersed graphene oxide/alcohol solution; (ii) adding saturated dicarboxylic acid or anhydride, unsaturated dicarboxylic acid or anhydride and polymerization inhibitor to the obtained graphene oxide/diol solution, heating at 150-160 degrees C, insulating for 0.5-1.5 hours, heating at 190-210 degrees C to dehydrate and esterify, controlling distillation column temperature at 105 degrees C, where the acid value is 20-60 mg of potassium hydroxide/g, cooling to 70-120 degrees C, dissolving polymerization inhibitor by adding vinyl monomer, diluting with one-third the weight of the entire system, uniformly dispersing to obtain graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester resin; and (iii) adding (in parts by wt.) initiator (2-4) to the obtained graphite oxide/unsaturated polyester resin (100), uniformly stirring, adding ( less than or equal to 0.5) accelerating agent, uniformly stirring, pouring curing system into a mold, removing bubbles under vacuum conditions, curing at 0-100 degrees C to obtain the graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester composite material.
