NOVELTY - An interlayer hollow structured silicon-carbon-graphene electrode material comprises interlayer hollow structured silicon-carbon particles fixed on a redox graphene sheet. The particles comprise silica nanoparticles as core surface-coated with a silicon oxide layer, a carbon layer, and a hollow layer. USE - Electrode material is used for lithium ion battery negative electrodes (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode material has high reversible capacity and good cycle stability, and can be produced on a large scale. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An interlayer hollow structured silicon-carbon-graphene electrode material comprises interlayer hollow structured silicon-carbon particles fixed on a redox graphene sheet. The particles comprise silica nanoparticles as core surface-coated with a silicon oxide (SiOx) layer, a carbon layer, and a hollow layer. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the electrode material using 5-10 g/L polydimethyldiallylammonium chloride solution and 1-3 mg/ml graphene solution.
