NOVELTY - Method of macro-mass preparation of hydroxyl-rich epoxy-type graphite, involves mixing graphite flakes and first sulfuric acid and reacting to obtain first graphite precursor, and adding second sulfuric acid to cooperate with first sulfuric acid to intercalate and modify the graphite flakes to obtain second graphite precursor, where first sulfuric acid is selected from concentrated sulfuric acid with mass fraction of more than 98%, and the second sulfuric acid is selected from sulfuric acid with mass fraction of 10-90%. USE - Method of macro-mass preparation of hydroxyl-rich epoxy-type graphite. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for hydroxyl-rich epoxy graphene oxide, which has content of carboxyl and carbonyl functional groups less than 2%, and content of hydroxyl and epoxy groups of more than 60%.
