NOVELTY - Preparing modified graphene master batch comprises (i) dispersing graphene oxide in solvent, ultrasonically dispersing, and adjusting the pH to 5-7 to obtain graphene dispersion, (ii) adding silane coupling agent solution into the graphene dispersion liquid, and heating and reacting to obtain the oxidized graphene-coupling agent reaction liquid, (iii) cooling the oxidized graphene-coupling agent reaction liquid, adding reducing agent to carry out the reduction reaction to obtain modified graphene, dispersing the modified graphene in the solvent, stirring, and ultrasonicating to obtain the modified dispersion graphene, and (iv) adding the modified dispersion graphene into the latex, ultrasonicating, adding flocculating agent, mixing and stirring until the latex is flocculated, washing, and drying to obtain the modified graphene master batch. USE - The method is useful for aviation tire, heavy load tire, high performance automobile tire and aircraft tire. ADVANTAGE - The master batch is easy to disperse in rubber uniformly, has stronger interfacial interaction with rubber, and has excellent mechanical properties.
