NOVELTY - Manufacture of food packaging container containing graphene involves (A) preparing raw material of composition by blending 0.01-10 pts. wt. graphene raw material based on 100 pts. wt. of polyethylene (PE), (B) processing the polyethylene (PE) and graphene raw material blend prepared in step (A) into an extruder, melt-extruding, cooling, and cutting to a predetermined size to process polyethylene (PE) pellets containing graphene, (C) melting the polyethylene pellets containing graphene, which is the result of step (B) using a heating cylinder, and injecting into a mold, (D) applying a constant pressure to compensate for a space in which the volume is contracted while the melt injected into the mold is cooled in the step (C), (E) molding the melt into a food packaging container having a predetermined shape and solidifying for a predetermined time in the mold, and (F) taking out the food packaging container, which has been molded and cooled through the step (E). USE - Manufacture of food packaging container for food and beverage. ADVANTAGE - The method provides container with antibacterial function and improved strength, increases the shelf life of food by blocking light transmission, and safely stores food for a long period of time. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of food packaging container containing graphene involves (A) preparing raw material of composition by blending 0.01-10 pts. wt. graphene raw material based on 100 pts. wt. of polyethylene (PE), (B) processing the polyethylene (PE) and graphene raw material blend prepared in step (A) into an extruder, melt-extruding, cooling, and cutting to a predetermined size to process polyethylene (PE) pellets containing graphene, (C) melting the polyethylene pellets containing graphene, which is the result of step (B) using a heating cylinder, and injecting into a mold, (D) applying a constant pressure to compensate for a space in which the volume is contracted while the melt injected into the mold is cooled in the step (C), (E) molding the melt into a food packaging container having a predetermined shape and solidifying for a predetermined time in the mold, and (F) taking out the food packaging container, which has been molded and cooled through the step (E), is separated from the mold. In step (A), the graphene raw material is graphene. The preparation of graphene involves (1) adding 20-30 mg/ml graphene oxide powder to deionized water to obtain an aqueous solution (S1), (2) adding 5-10 mg/ml mineral powder of germanium, illite, or zeolite to deionized water to obtain an aqueous solution (S2), (3) obtaining a solvent by stirring monobasic sodium phosphate and choline chloride in a weight ratio of 1:1 at 50-60° C, (4) mixing 30-80 pts. wt. aqueous solution (S2) and 200-250 pts. wt. solvent based on 100 pts. wt. aqueous solution (S1) and stirring at 50-60° C to obtain a graphene mixture, (5) washing the graphene mixture using deionized water, washing three or more times through a centrifuge to obtain a graphene solution, and (6) freeze-drying the graphene solution and pulverizing to prepare a graphene powder.
