NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene modified high-barrier gas-specific plastic pipe, involves (i) mixing aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide with colloidal solution of layered clay, adsorbing graphene oxide by the colloid, reducing the graphene oxide by hydrazine hydrate under microwave-assisted conditions, performing suction filtration, washing and drying the filter residue, where the graphene forms an intercalation substance with clay, (ii) melting tin powder under protection of nitrogen, adding graphene and clay intercalate, uniformly dispersing, spraying to obtain fine powder, completely mixing with polyethylene, coupling agent, dispersant and stabilizer in a high-speed mixer, and extruding by a screw extruder to obtain a tube blank, and (iii) quickly cooling and cutting the extruded tube blank. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene modified high-barrier gas-specific plastic pipe (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method effectively isolates the agglomeration, so that the graphene is uniformly dispersed in the matrix resin, and improves diffusion resistance of the plastic pipe.
