NOVELTY - Preparing cobalt-doped ferrite absorbing material comprises (1) preparing an aqueous solution containing ferric ion and cobalt (II) ion in a ratio of 1:0.1-0.7, (2) preparing 0.5-2 g/l graphene oxide aqueous solution, (3) mixing the solutions obtained in step (1) and step (2), where the mass ratio of ferric ion and cobalt (II) ion and graphene oxide in the obtained mixed solution is 1:0.1-0.7:0.1-0.4, (4) adding a reducing agent solution to the mixed solution and (5) placing the solution at 140-200 degrees C to react, separating and drying to obtain wave absorbing material. USE - The method is useful for preparing cobalt-doped ferrite absorbing material. ADVANTAGE - The method: reduces the wave absorbing material, use of medicines, production cost; is conducive to large-scale production; reduces the density of the material; meets the market requirements for lightweight materials; has a broader market application prospects; reduces the density of the material; and has good wave-absorbing performance.
