NOVELTY - A composite material comprises nitrogen-doped phenolic-based activated carbon and graphene-like material, where the specific capacitance of the composite material is 150 F/g, the graphene-like material is selected from the group consisting of graphene and its derivatives and/or biomass graphene and its derivatives, and the composite material is prepared by polymerizing phenolic compound and the aldehyde compound, adding nitrogen-containing substance and graphene-like material after the polymerization reaction is finished, curing and carbonizing to obtain the finished product. USE - Composite material for use in electrode (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has high specific capacitance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A composite material comprises nitrogen-doped phenolic-based activated carbon and graphene-like material, where the specific capacitance of the composite material is 150 F/g or 200 F/g or more, the graphene-like material is selected from the group consisting of graphene and its derivatives and/or biomass graphene and its derivatives, and the composite material is prepared by polymerizing phenolic compound and the aldehyde compound, adding nitrogen-containing substance and graphene-like material after the polymerization reaction is finished, curing and carbonizing to obtain the finished product.
