NOVELTY - A negative electrode includes a negative electrode sheet and a graphene/cellulose composite material layer on a surface of one side of the negative electrode sheet. The graphene/cellulose composite material layer includes graphene, cellulose and other additives. The cellulose is partially embedded between the sheets of graphene, and another portion is attached to the surface of the sheet of graphene. The other auxiliary agent is chosen from at least one of surfactant and dispersing agent. USE - Negative electrode is used for lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium ion battery using the positive electrode and negative electrode has excellent cycle performance and safety performance, and high capacity and stability. The negative electrode and positive electrode are prepared by simple method with high productivity, in short period of time under mild reaction condition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) production of negative electrode, which involves mixing and grinding graphite and cellulose, obtaining mixture (a), dissolving obtained mixture (a) in water, adding other additives, mixing uniformly, preparing mixed slurry of graphene/cellulose composite material, applying mixed slurry to one surface of negative electrode sheet, and drying the negative electrode sheet coated with mixed slurry. The other auxiliary agent is surfactant and/or dispersing agent. The grinding process is preferably carried out in a ball mill for 5-24 hours. The mass ratio of mixture (a) with respect to water is 0.1-50:100, preferably 1-15:100. The battery negative electrode plate is composed of negative electrode current collector and negative electrode material layer. The negative electrode material layer includes negative electrode active material, conductive agent and binder (I). The drying process is carried out at 60-120 degrees C for 1-24 hours; (2) positive electrode for lithium ion battery, which has a positive electrode sheet and a graphene/cellulose composite material on a surface of one side of positive electrode sheet. The graphene/cellulose composite layer comprises graphene, fiber and other auxiliaries. The cellulose is partially embedded in sheet of graphene, and another portion is attached to the surface of the sheet of graphene. The other additive is surfactant and/or dispersing agent; (3) production of positive electrode, which involves mixing and grinding graphite and cellulose, obtaining mixture (I), dissolving obtained mixture (a) in water, adding other auxiliary agent, uniformly mixing, obtaining mixed slurry of graphene/cellulose composite material, applying obtained mixed slurry to one surface of the positive electrode sheet and drying. The other auxiliary agent is surfactant and/or dispersing agent. The mass ratio of mixture (a) with respect to water is 0.1-50:100, preferably 1-15:100. The positive electrode sheet is composed of positive current collector and positive electrode material layer. The positive electrode material layer includes a positive electrode active material, a conductive agent, and a binder (I); and (4) lithium ion battery, which comprises negative electrode and/or positive electrode.
